    Nature & Wildlife

Sri Lanka may be a small island but it boasts of a whole lot of offerings for tourists and vacationers. Considered as one of the best South Asian islands for wildlife immersion.  The island is isolated from the mainland and a range of altitudes provide for variations in climate which are what makes wildlife as diverse as ever. Sri Lankan royalty has remained protective over its natural resources, establishing Mihintale, the most ancient of all natural reserves worldwide.

Enjoy visiting wildlife sanctuaries during your stay. Check out over 140 bird species at Sinharaja Rainforest or go camping at Yala National Park, the second largest national park of Sri Lanka, and be awed by the elegance of wild elephants passing by, 44 species of which are uniquely Sri Lankan heritage.

Spot leopards, sloth bears, mugger crocodiles, and more. A visit of magnificent coves in the south completes it as you meet giant sea turtles peacefully nesting ashore. Havea boat trip and meet tender giant blue whales and dolphins roaming about the Indian Ocean.
